Who is actually behind it

Two named people, not a faceless storefront. Atul Pandey started The Next G — physical electronics and mobile stores in Prayagraj — in 2020. Ayush Mishra, a Master’s in Psychology, works on customer trust. Four years of offline retail and two years of research into how the refurbished market really works went in before the company was incorporated in 2024 and NewAsNew went live. The number most sellers will not publish

Only 2 to 3 out of every 10 devices that reach our QC bench pass. The other 7 to 8 go back to the supplier. The exact figure moves month to month with the stock we are offered, which is why we publish the range instead of one flattering number. Failed battery health, screen defects, thermal problems, storage already degrading, and units that simply are not what the supplier claimed. We publish that number because it is the honest description of this category — most of the second-hand stock circulating in India should not be sold to anyone. As we put it: not every product deserves to be sold.

What we will not claim

A page like this is usually all reassurance. Here is the other half, because you should weigh it before spending your money:

• Refurbished is not new. A Grade A Certified unit has been used and restored. An Unboxed unit is like new, but the box was opened. We tell you which one you are buying and we do not blur the two.
• We are a young brand. The company was incorporated in 2024 and our review count is still small. We would rather you see a handful of real reviews than a thousand bought ones — we do not buy reviews, ratings or followers, and we never will.
• We cannot promise a device will never fail. Electronics fail. That is exactly what the 6-month warranty and the 7-day return window are for, and why the exclusions are written out in plain language rather than buried.
