Every product sold by NewAsNew comes with the NewAsNew Assured Warranty for 6 months. Here’s exactly what that means in practice — no fine print surprises.

What Is the NewAsNew Assured Warranty?

It’s our in-house warranty, separate from any brand warranty. We stand behind every product we sell for 6 months from your purchase date. If a covered defect appears within that period, we fix or replace it — free of charge.

This warranty is in addition to any brand warranty on Unboxed products. So an Unboxed iPhone with 8 months of Apple warranty remaining + our 6-month Assured Warranty gives you a total of up to 14 months of combined warranty coverage.

What’s Covered

  • Hardware defects that appear after delivery (manufacturing defects, component failures)
  • Display issues — dead pixels, backlight failure, screen flicker
  • Keyboard and trackpad failures
  • Motherboard, RAM, SSD failures
  • Speaker, microphone, camera hardware failures
  • Port failures (USB, HDMI, audio jack, charging port)
  • Cooling system failure (fan, thermal issues causing throttling)
  • Cellular/WiFi/Bluetooth hardware failures

What’s Not Covered

  • Physical damage (drops, cracks, dents) — these are accidents, not defects
  • Liquid/water damage — even minor spills
  • Unauthorized repair attempts — opening the device yourself voids warranty
  • Software issues — OS crashes, viruses, app problems
  • Battery, charger, adapter, cables — consumable items
  • Cosmetic wear and tear — minor scratches that develop in use
  • Theft or loss

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Step 1: WhatsApp us at +91 79822 35917 with your order number and a description of the issue. A photo or short video helps us diagnose faster.

Step 2: We assess the issue within 1 business day. If it’s clearly a covered defect, we proceed immediately. If we need more information, we’ll ask.

Step 3: We arrange free pickup from your doorstep (1–2 business days for scheduling).

Step 4: Device arrives at our facility. Our technicians diagnose and repair. This typically takes 3–5 business days.

Step 5: Repaired device is QC-checked again and shipped back to you. If repair is not possible, we replace with an equivalent device or provide a refund — your choice.

Total typical turnaround: 7–10 business days.

The Extended Warranty Option (Grade A Only)

Grade A buyers can add extended warranty coverage at the time of purchase:

  • +6 months: 7% of product price. Takes total coverage to 12 months.
  • +12 months: 12% of product price. Takes total coverage to 18 months.

Extended warranty covers the same defects as the standard Assured Warranty. It does not cover battery, charger, adapter, or accessories (consumables are excluded from all warranty coverage).

Most refurbished sellers offer a “warranty” that in practice means: “email us and hope for the best.” Our warranty has a documented process, free pickup, defined timelines, and a replace-if-not-repairable commitment. We put it in writing because we stand behind it.
